Four home waters — the best rivers within reach
Most of our trips set out from Vuostimo, either by boat or by road, unless otherwise arranged.
Kemijärvi — the heart of the Kemijoki watershed, where lake and river meet. Broad open water and countless bays make outstanding ground for both pike and pikeperch trips.
Savukoski — the largest and oldest fishing water on the Kemijoki's upper reaches. Here the river is still young, fast-flowing, and full of energy — and fish.
Salla — a calm, untouched wilderness municipality where you fish close to the Russian border, on water in a fully natural state.
Salla's rivers are a paradise for grayling.
Pelkosenniemi — an area beside Pyhätunturi fell, where the fell landscape mirrors itself in clear water. Natural beauty and fine fishing combine perfectly.

How getting to the fishing grounds works
In open-water season, travel to the best grounds is by boat. Departure is from the shore by the old Vuostimo village school, where our base is located at Opintie 17, 98360 Vuostimo.

• Your fishing licence is included in the trip — no need to arrange it yourself
• Lapland's weather can surprise you — dress in layers; your guide can advise further if needed
• Arriving in good time before departure is recommended — you'll have a moment to settle in and catch up with your guide before stepping into the boat
• Allergies, special diets, or mobility considerations — let us know in advance and we'll arrange everything smoothly
