GUIDED TRIPS

Forget the logistics — focus on the fishing
Every trip is private and tailor-made. No fixed groups, no compromises. You book the trip for yourself or your party, and we build it around your wishes, your schedule, and your fishing goals.
Tell us:
• How long you want to fish — a few hours, a full day, or several days?
• Which species you're after — pike, grayling, or both?
• Your experience level — beginner, fly fisher, or seasoned lure-caster?
• Whether you need transport, meals, and lodging arranged for you?
We handle the rest.

Trip length and scope
Half-day trip — roughly 3 hours. A perfect first taste of the Kemijoki watershed, or a quick fishing fix for the traveller short on time. Works well for children and complete newcomers too.
Full-day trip — roughly 6 hours. A thorough day out with time to try several spots and techniques. This is our most popular option — enough time to find your rhythm and feel real moments of success.
Multi-day wilderness trip — 1 to 3 days. Deep into the Kemijoki's wild waters. Lodging, meals, and a full programme, tailored to you. This is the kind of trip people are still talking about years later.
Our boat holds 1–3 anglers. For larger groups, we arrange multi-boat trips — everyone stays together, but each person has their own room to fish.

Setting out
Trips generally set out by boat or by car from our base in Vuostimo, at Opintie 17, unless otherwise arranged. Our departure point sits on the bank of the Kemijoki, right beside where our company operates out of the historic Vuostimo village-school building.

Suited to everyone — including the complete beginner
No prior experience? Doesn't matter. Your guide teaches everything from the ground up — how to hold the rod, how to cast, how to read water. For many, that first guided trip has also been their first time with a rod in hand, and their first catch. That feeling is a rare one, and we want to be part of it.
For the experienced angler, a guide becomes an equal partner — talking species, local knowledge, and tackle optimisation that lift the fishing to a new level even for those who've been at this for decades.

Responsible fishing — a sustainable relationship with nature
We fish selectively and follow catch-and-release for the trophy fish. The largest trophy pike and the biggest grayling are released — they're the natural capital of the Kemijoki watershed, and they belong to the anglers who'll come after us too. Fish suited for the table can be taken home with a clear conscience.

Areas of operation

Our trips head for the finest stretches of the Kemijoki watershed: Kemijärvi · Salla · Savukoski · Pelkosenniemi. We choose the location based on season, weather, and your wishes — always wherever the fish are most active at that moment.
Tell us when you're coming and what you're dreaming of, and we'll build the trip together.
