Transport and arrival
By car
— Kemijärvi is roughly an hour's drive from Rovaniemi along Highway 5. From Kemijärvi, it's about a further half hour by car to Vuostimo. Free parking is available at the trip's departure point in Vuostimo.
By train
— Kemijärvi is the terminus of Finland's northernmost rail line. The train connection from Helsinki runs well — and is, in fact, a rather pleasant way to begin a fishing trip into Lapland.
By air
— the nearest airport is Rovaniemi, with onward connections to Kemijärvi. We're happy to help arrange transport if needed.

All trips begin in Vuostimo unless another departure point has been specifically arranged. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to set out from somewhere else.
